Qualifications Required/Job Specifications:
Exterior surfaces are properly prepared for paint - no surface rust, scale, or dirt; no large stickers or other foreign matter; sufficient primer applied as required.
Raw steel for inventory is cleaned and primed on arrival.
Interior surfaces and joints are filled / sanded / caulked to leave a clean, professional look. Finish paint, exterior and interior, is per spec without thin spots or "holidays" and NO DRIPS.
Care for tools, supplies, and other equipment - taking responsibility for cleaning, timely maintenance and servicing of tools to ensure high levels of productivity. Works efficiently to reduce time-on-task and increase throughput while operating safely and delivering high-quality results.
Skilled at using airless spray rigs for water-based and oil-based products, including proper clean-p of tools and equipment. Skilled at applying caulk, spackling, and other fillers (floors) to prepare finish surfaces.
Skilled at brushing, rolling, and cut-in work, including proper clean-up of tools and equipment. Able to learn approved means and methods and to demonstrate competency before recommending changes for improvement.

This is a temp to hire position beginning at $14 - $16 an hour.
