Shipping/receiving clerk's job description entails processing incoming and outgoing shipments for all departments. Shipments may consist of parcel, packages, or pallets. Being attentive to detail is an imperative part of a shipping/receiving clerk's job. Checks to make sure the items are not damaged and checks against the bill of lading BOL to ensure all items were received. Clerk must know how to safely and securely package items for shipping to prevent damage. Clerk will load shipments in a truck with a forklift or pallet jack. Forklift Certification required, on site testing.
All clerks are responsible for maintaining proper PPE (Personal Protective equipment) at all times when on warehouse floor. Shipping/Receiving Clerk handles outgoing and incoming shipments by checking them physically and for accuracy against bill of lading (BOL). Organizes packaging procedures to ensure safety of shipment. Checks to make sure the items are not damaged and then checks against the package's shipping list to ensure all items were received. Ensures that serial numbers match the product that was pulled, packed and shipped. Processes customers' orders by ensuring that the right shipment is on its way.


Attendance at work and punctuality is an essential function of this position
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Forklift Certified basic math skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Be able to stand for long periods of time and required frequently: standing, walking kneeling, squatting, bending and reaching
Work in hot or cold temperatures.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as detailed work instructions And always be willing to learn something new all the time.


Understanding of bills of lading (BOL), Order filling
Attention to detail, determine if product is suitable for shipping
Understanding of FedEx and UPS shipments
Knowledge of forklift and pallet jack usage for shipments

$12 - $13 DOE
7: 30 am - 4 pm M-F

This is a temp to hire position.
Must be 18, pass a drug screening and have no theft or felonies in your background.
